Oct. 1-3 -- Two baby showers! One for Jamie on Friday night at La Hacienda Ranch...Yummy! =) and great margaritas! - better be for $11! (didn't know that until I got the check...) and Angela's on Saturday afternoon. Both were so fun and they got lots of great things.
Sunday Ryan and I drove to Wichita Falls to watch his cousin Paige in a play called CATS. She was amazing!! I was able to finally see his Aunt and Uncles house which is so cute and very close to what we would consider our "dream home".
On top of all that, on the way to the musical I got a phone call letting me know my cousin Nicole was in labor! She gave birth to Braxton Miles on Monday morning Oct. 4th...and they decided to wait to find out the sex so it was exciting to find out they had a little boy! She has a precious little 2 1/2 year old girl already so now she has one of each ;)
Oct. 7 -- Trip to the Emergency Room!... Ryan had been complaining about a sharp pain in is stomach for like 2 weeks. The night before he had a high fever and woke up throwing up so I decided it was probably a good idea we head to the hospital. He had to put down some disgusting looking drink, sit in a cold white room for two hours, and get a ct scan. Finally, we were informed that Ryan had appendicitis and needed to get an appendectomy right away! Within about 15 minutes Ry was getting wheeled away to have his appendix out. It was so scary for me because we haven't had anything serious like this happen to one another. Our family was so sweet helping out with K and sitting with me while he was in surgery...(which felt like forever!)...Come to find out his appendix had ruptured within itself...so...what was suppose to be a simple surgery and recovery ended up being just a tad more. We were at the hospital for a total of 5 days! He is feeling much better now and after all of this I have realized how much of a pain tolerance my hubby has...

Oct. 15 -- Surprise party at Blue Mesa for Ryan's Aunt Ellen! We had a lot of fun and the food was great! We always have a good time with them.
Oct. 16 -- Trip to Norman for the OU game and another baby born! On our way out the door to head to Norman we got a phone call that my sister had her baby boy! Welcome Beckett Bryar Moore!! He is such a handsome little man!
Oct. 22 -- Visitors come from all over the place! The Penlands came down from Tulsa and a few other friends of ours from Houston. They all came down for The Burnetts shower that we unfortunately had to cancel due to Addy coming early. However we had a blast hanging out and catching up.
Oct. 27 -- Addison Mae Burnett arrives 4 weeks early! She is as healthy and beautiful as they get!
