Our First Christmas in Our Home

I am really enjoying this weather! I am usually not a cold weather person, but I am loving it this year. I am still trying to figure out the layering clothes part. I am not to good at that and ALWAYS under dress.
Well we decorated our house a couple of weeks ago for Christmas. I love my house like this. It adds so much. I am going to feel like my house is so empty and blah whenever we have to take it all down.
I can not believe Christmas is a week away. Did it come really fast this year or is that what happens when you get older? I am not sure but it came way to fast! But I am super excited about it. I love spending time with my family and all the food. Starting Saturday Ryan and I have four Christmas parties in a row. It will be really fun. I hope to take a lot of pictures this year. Last year I didn't and I took only one picture over Thanksgiving. I am so bad at that!!
Well I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas, and do not forget the real meaning of Christmas.

MOVE THAT BUS!!

This is Ty running by giving us high fives

EXTREME HOMEMAKER IS IN KELLER!

WOW! I got the privilege to be on the site today for the BIG "Move that bus!" reveal!! Yes, I was one of the many people that was able to shout "MOVE THAT BUS!" What an amazing experience. It was FREEZING outside today! My mom went with me and we stood outside for 2 hours! During these loooonnnng two hours we watched the whole filming of the show. It was crazy watching how they do it. It is not as simple as you would think. They filmed all the segments of the show three different times. They had a limo (without anyone in it) drive up a few times, Ty even opened the door, they actually moved the bus away from the house, they filmed all the volunteers in front of the house, all of this happened throughout the 2 hours of us being there. Ty is adorable!! He was all dressed up. He ran by all of us and gave us all high fives. Paul from the show signed my hat(I held his coffee while he signed it! =)) And I got a picture with him. Finally, the family drove up in the limo. Ty opened the door for them and then they yelled "move that bus!" It was so neat to see the family as they were revealed their new home. It's been awhile! I am starting to realize that I am not much of a blogger. But I am trying to get better.

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. Wednesday night we spent the night at Ryan's parents house. We played Pictionary. Guys verses girls. Girls won! (i think) Thursday we got up and had some coffee and read the paper (sounds so old of us...haha). Then, Ryan and I went for a run. It was beautiful outside! We went over to Ryan's grandparents for lunch and watched the Cowboys game. Then around half time went over to my aunt's house for dinner. (yes we had two thanksgiving dinners!) We watched the Texas/Texas A&M game and played games. I love the holidays because I get to hang out with my family and eat A LOT!

Ryan's birthday was last weekend. He is the big 2-4!! His birthday fell on the same day as the Big 12 Championship game, so we decided to have a party. It was fun and OU won thank goodness.

I can not believe there are only 2 more weeks till Christmas. I still have a lot of shopping to do. I am so excited though!! We decorated our house for Christmas all last week. We had nothing to begin with so we had to go get all the basics. It was so fun decorating! I love our house right now. I wish we could keep it like this all year around. =) I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. And I wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Enjoy this time of year! Enjoy your families and the happiness that is in the air! SMILE!! =)
