The first weekend in June was a perfect much needed girl weekend. A few of my girlfriends and I stayed in Dallas for a night. It was GLORIOUS! We ate some tex mex and had some happy hour ritas, stayed up really late chatting and slept in!! We had amazing food and shopped a little and ended it with laying out by an infinity pool on the 7th floor of the Condo we stayed in. Where were my kids you ask? With my amazing hubs! Thankful for him!!
One of my very good friends, Angela, had her baby boy at the end of the month. I helped throw her a shower. It was such a cute theme. We did a "milkaholic" theme.
This little one still has an obsession with shoes. She loves mama's high heels! Glad someone gets some use out of them! ;)
We have been trying to spend the mornings outside since it gets so hot in the afternoon. We take strolls down the long country driveway, swim with friends, and we discovered the splash park in Roanoke. It is a great place to take K during these hot summer days. We have been going with our church Mommies group.
We started swim lesson this month. K did pretty good her first time. She did shed some tears and I had to go sit inside and watch her. Her teacher is great and so good with her. We do them at my friend Jackie's moms house. They have a beautiful back yard!
One Saturday morning Ryan had something going on and so did some of my other friends hubby's so we all met on the Denton square and got some donuts at Donuts on the Square. Such a neat place. They have square donuts and they are gourmet! =)
We have an amazing life group that we just call family. They have been such a blessing to us. We try to meet up every couple of weeks for a fellowship. One evening we all met in Denton and ate at Fuzzy's Taco and then listened to one of the guys in our group, Chris Bullard, sing. He is really good! We are sad to say goodbye to them, but excited for their new journey in Nashville, TN.
I was feeling pretty crafty this month....
Happy Fathers day!! We celebrated the sweetest daddy! We decorated the house and made him a picture frame(didn't take pics) and he celebrated the day with a round of golf with his dad and brother. The kids and I went to my parents house and hung out with them by the pool. When Ry got back we ate dinner together and had some family time.
We had a family date night out to Blue Goose at the shops of HV and finished the night off with ice cream and the fountains.
The last weekend of the month we celebrated my cousin's little boy, Krew's 2nd birthday. He is adorable and had a lot of fun at his "barnyard" themed party.
Here are some videos to end with. ENJOY!
